The Rumpus store sales accounts for over 90% of the funds we currently use to cover our basic operating costs and keep The Rumpus running without a paywall. This includes sales of merchandise and (especially!) our ongoing subscription programs: Letters in the Mail from authors, The Rumpus Book Club, and The Rumpus Poetry Book Club. In 2022 we launched a Rumpus Membership program with special perks for supporters. Each of these programs along with tax-deductible donations made to The Rumpus through our fiscal sponsor, Fractured Atlas, helps keep us going and brings us closer to sustainability.
